P. & C. Habig Sport

This new old stock P. & C. Habig Sport belongs to my friend Herbert Jennissen of Hut-Neubarth Augsburg. It has the "Ventilo" vents. This one was made for the German market and has a logo I haven't seen before. I thinking 1950s with this one.

P. & C. Habig Geras

I think this black velour is late 1960s maybe later. The liner is sewn in which is not the case the with the others I have of this same style. It also has the old label style but I can't read the numbers. The model appears to be named after the Lower Austrian town of Geras.

P. & C. Habig (1951)

This is an amazing hat to DoctorJ on the FL. It has Trachten elements along with some city elements. The green - gold color combination and bow treatment are very Austrian.

P. & C. Habig Homburg (late 1950s early 1960s)

This Habig Homburg doesn't have a paper label (or I couldn't find it) but I am thinking late 50s early 60s. It is in perfect condition.

P. & C. Habig Homburg 1961

P. & C. Habig Homburg size 58cm from 1961. It has a some damage to the ribbon / bow from mis-staking but other than that it is in super condition. Also thinner ribbon and a little more side curve than usual.

I just got my 1961 P. & C. Habig Homburg (posted above) back from Optimo. It had some ribbon / bow damage (otherwise excellent condition) so I had that replaced plus a clean and block. The ribbon width is about the same as the original which isn't common for Homburgs (more Bowler like). I think they did a great job as usual.

After Optimo

They also added a sweatband bow which I didn't ask for (nice touch).

This one belongs to RLK on the FL and was made for the US market. I am thinking late 60s. Not the old paper label style.

P. & C. Habig Murau Velour, size 59cm. Not sure why the outside paper label has 58cm? / 7 3/8. This one was made in 1973 but still of very high quality.

This is a later P. & C. Habig (1984), size 59cm. Got to love that Habig always listed the production year of the hat. I think they stand alone in this regards.
