habigman
Hutfabrik J. A. Seidl München probably early 1900s. This Melone is made of Wool which was common for pre WWII German and Austrian Stiff Felt hats. Top price point Pre WWII German and Austrian Wool Stiff and Soft Felt hats were of a high quality. The quality of this hat is excellent and it's in super condition (sweatband size tag still present). The Paper Label is missing but you can see where it might was once have been located on the rear of the sweatband. habigman
Hut-Seidl München "Garant" made by Mayser Ulm, 60cm probably mid 1950s. Very high quality felt that easily dry creases. Also I really like the ribbon width and hat form. Hut-Seidl München had a strong historical connection with Mayser Ulm. Open Crown

habigman
" Colonia", 54 cm possibly early 1930s. Made of Wool with Back Bow, moderate Brim curl with Binding. The Sweatband type and Paper Label type point to Hutfabrik J. A. Seidl München. Not sure of Hutfabrik J. A. Seidl München production at this time and doesn't look like Mayser Ulm so could be sourced. This hat belongs to Panos from the FL. Photos by Matt from the FL.
