habigman
Biber, 59cm, very good condition, probably late 1950s. I assume it has some Beaver (Biber) content based on the name. Unique bow design and very nice felt finish / color. Sold by Wilhelm Maushard, Schopfheim, West Germany.
habigman
"Metro", 57cm, Wool, probably early 1960s. I assume this hat is German made but there are no words on the paper label. I purchased this hat from the seller of 1930s "NEUHEIT" Velour. It's machine formed and the Wool is a bit course but overall a good looking hat. habigman
Carl Jacobs Halle a/S., measures 57cm, probably WWI era maybe later. No company mark but probably made by one of the hat companies in Guben or Luckenwalde. Currently I can't make out the symbol above Carl Jacob on the liner. It has a over welt brim with a slightly offset smaller scale bow and a unique shinny lime green liner. The Velour is in very good condition and has a very nice glossy finish and fine hand. Muffbox Carl Jacob, Halle a / S., Kleinschmieden 7 Owner of the royal Prussian state medal in silver for commercial services Warehouse finished. Furs of own factory Circa 1900
habigman
Elegant Homburg, measures 59cm. I believe it's from a East German source and is pre WWII. The liner is soiled but overall condition is good. No paper label.
habigman
Weston, 56cm possibly mid to later 1950s. No company mark but probably made for a distributor. I couldn't find anything on the "Weston" trademark which is a play on Stetson. The felt is light in weight and pliable.
