habigman Posted July 12, 2022 Report Share Posted July 12, 2022 German Hat Maker's Seal, "L. W." initials with a Top Hat and Lions possibly mid to late 19th Century. Not sure who the Hat Maker** is but the seller thought it could a Hat Maker from Bavaria/Allgäu area. ** I found a Hat Maker "Ludwig Weigt" from Deustch Kralupp (today Karlovarsky kraj northwest region of Czechia / Czech Republic) in a 1879 trade listing but no way to verify this is the same "L.
