habigman
Alois Pichler Wien, no company mark, size 54 or 55cm. Belongs to Fastuni on the FL.
habigman
Alois Pichler Wien, 60cm probably 1930s maybe 1940s. The paper label behind the sweatband has a Alois Pichler Wien mark but it could have been made by another company. The felt easily dry creases and has a very nice finish. Unique interior with white sweatband and liner.
habigman
Alois Pichler Wien, measures 57 cm, no paper label, possibly late 1950s. I am fairly certain the Felt has some Wool content and has a very soft hand and easily dry creases. The Felt is a mélange of mostly gray and green. Not sure if this was made or sourced by Alois Pichler Wien. The components and workmanship are of high quality. Open Crown
habigman
Alois Pichler Wien made by S. J. Fraenkel Wien possibly early 1920s or earlier. Very pliable Medium Weight Smooth Finish Black Felt. Wide Band with a fantastic Bow design. I would like to thank Brent from the FL for selling me this rare Soft Felt. habigman
Alois Pichler Wien, measures 58 cm, 143 grams possibly early 1930s. I think it's Fur Felt but might have a small Wool content. I couldn't find a paper label and nothing points to a specific hat company. I am not aware of A.P.W. having a production facility so probably sourced. There is a wide fabric Band behind the main Band that I assume was a later add on that is permanently applied. I am not sure what it is for so I am checking with the seller to see if they have any information. The black Liner with gold A.P.W. mark really stands out. Alois Pichler Wien waxed Paper Bag "Pichler Hüte Sind Weltbekannt / Pichler Hats Are World Famous" that this Stiff Felt was wrapped so probably original.
