  3. "Dehazet Supplier Directory For The Entire Hat Industry And Related Businesses" (1928) from the Gotisches Haus (Gothic House) Hat Museum Collection, Bad Homburg, Germany. Click On Photos To Expand!
  4. H.B. "Prima Weser Hut", 59cm, 172 grams, probably 1920s (hard to date could be earlier or later). Believe it or not this Wool Stiff Felt has a mirror inset into the liner logo! The liner logo has the initials H.B. and the paper label has the initials H.B.B. which is Heinrich Balke Bremen who was a hat whole seller. Weser is a river that flows into Bremen and "Weser Hut" is trademarked so will see if I can find anything. Mirror inset into Liner Logo! Close up of the Logo with Mirror. Natural Light
  5. These large scale posters belong to the Bad Homburg Gotisches Haus (Gothic House) Hat Museum collection. Last Wednesday (09/21/16) I made a return visit to the museum. Click on photos to expand. Chapellerie Bruyas probably early 1900s. Really Fantastic! Chapellerie Cyrille probably early 1900s. Mossant late 1930s.
  6. That's a great advertisement! I also posted a reply in Austrian Hat Company thread. I will definitely be on the look out for Lital hats and information.
  7. Thank you posting the photos and information! It's interesting that the hat uses Vienna vs. Wien which probably means it was made for the US market. Is there a paper label behind the sweatband? It would behind the sweatband at the rear or sides (see example below). If there is a paper label could you please take a photo of it and post it here? Do you know if the business was started again in America? I will be on the look out for Lital hats and documentation.
  8. P. & C. Habig Wien, 60cm probably 1980s early 1990s. Could have been made by Mayser after they got the brand rights. This one was sent to me by mistake by a seller. Very nice felt for a later hat so I decided to keep it.
  9. Alois Pichler Wien, 60cm probably 1930s maybe 1940s. The paper label behind the sweatband has a Alois Pichler Wien mark but it could have been made by another company. The felt easily dry creases and has a very nice finish. Unique interior with white sweatband and liner.
  10. J.Hückel´s Söhne "Prima" , 58cm, great condition probably 1930s. Rare Trachten model with fantastic old hand hot wet brushed Velour. Another Thank You to Manfred for the assistance! Original Feather with Edelweiss holder (removed for photos)
  11. Welcome! Sorry for the late reply. I was in Germany and I just recently returned. Yes please post what you everything you have on Lital. Was the hat you found a Ladies Hat? I will do some searching and see if I can find anything. Also what are your grandfather and great grandfather's names?
  12. Brüder Böhm Wien "Ultra", 58cm probably 1930s maybe late 1920s. This is a fantastic Stiff Felt that is in great condition but on the heavy side at 189 grams. Still has the original size stamp at the rear of the sweatband. A Thank You to Manfred for the assist!
