Johann Hückel´s Söhne, Jota Seal Velour, black with a hint of blue, size 55cm (probably 1930s). The Seal Velour finish is fantastic!

I just got my 1961 P. & C. Habig Homburg (posted above) back from Optimo. It had some ribbon / bow damage (otherwise excellent condition) so I had that replaced plus a clean and block. The ribbon width is about the same as the original which isn't common for Homburgs (more Bowler like). I think they did a great job as usual.
After Optimo
They also added a sweatband bow which I didn't ask for (nice touch).

1 7/8" ribbon

Hückel Superior Homburg, Dark Blue, Size 55cm. This one was made by Johann Hückel´s Söhne (Novy Jicin) in the late 30s out of Bulgaria. It is not my size but I was able to get it for $75.00 so went for it as a collectors piece. The felt is actually dark blue and of very high quality with matching dark blue sweatband + retractable rope loop for hanging. The liner is lite purple with very fine detail work. There is no binding but I think it adds to the look. The condition is excellent.

P. & C. Habig Homburg 1961
P. & C. Habig Homburg size 58cm from 1961. It has a some damage to the ribbon / bow from mis-staking but other than that it is in super condition. Also thinner ribbon and a little more side curve than usual.

Pallas Homburg (late 1950s)
This is a really nice size 59cm gray Pallas Homburg. The hat arrived open crown and looks like it was seldom worn. The gray felt is very pliable so it can easily take side dents which isn't always the case with Homburgs. The sweatband matches the color of the felt and has a super feel. The ribbon and bow work are also very nice. I am thinking late 1950s. Pallas is probably a product of a OEM. I am thinking Taunus might have made this hat. The felt and sweatband is very similar to a Taunus hat from the same time period.

Johann Hückel´s Söhne Flexible Bowler
Just got this rare Hückel Bowler back from Optimo. I had them put in a liner. Not sure if it had one originally. It has to be least the 1930s but a good possibility earlier. It fits like a 6 but label states 6 1/2.

TONAK Hückel (1960s 1970s)
This Hückel was made by TONAK for export to SELCO Brooklyn, New York. This proves that TONAK was using the Hückel name post WWII outside of Germany.

Wegener Homburg, Dark Blue. This is a special model made for A. Breiter Munich. Very nice dark blue felt that is especially pliable for a Homburg (similar to Borsalino Homburgs). I am thinking early 1950s but it could be older (very early 40s?).
