This Alpen model has some very nice black velour felt and cord treatment.

This beautiful black Homburg belongs to Dreispitz on the FL. Probably mid 1950s.

P. & C. Habig Geras
I think this black velour is late 1960s maybe later. The liner is sewn in which is not the case the with the others I have of this same style. It also has the old label style but I can't read the numbers. The model appears to be named after the Lower Austrian town of Geras.

Hückel Foulard (1938-45)
This is another WWII Johann Hückel´s Söhne. The felt is a beautiful green and very pliable. The sweat is of man made material and is falling apart. The use of this material might be due to war time rationing because I have never seen it in any other Johann Hückel´s Söhne hat. Other than that the hat is in perfect condition. It is only a size 56cm but I will probably keep as is for historical reasons.
Notice Eger, Adolf - Hitlerpl..
This shows the makeup of the sweatband.

P. & C. Habig Sport
This new old stock P. & C. Habig Sport belongs to my friend Herbert Jennissen of Hut-Neubarth Augsburg. It has the "Ventilo" vents. This one was made for the German market and has a logo I haven't seen before. I thinking 1950s with this one.

Ok. Those Peschels are obviously pretty hard to find, and I've been lucky enough to snag one from the Bay. Charcoal color, fairly stiff felt that is incredibly soft and silky to the touch.
Mario, This is a rare find indeed. Beautiful hat!

Ateha Top Hat (1950)
This great Topper belongs to le.gentleman. New old stock find.
"This was a new old stock top hat from the approx. 1950 - made be Ateha.
It's a very nice hat indeed!
I got it from a good friend who does not live closeby. So, without a confirmateur I had to take my best fitting hat and copy the shape on a piece of paper. Once the hat arrived, it looked perfect, however due to some pressure points I got a headache after a few minutes. So I went to Hutatelier Beermann and Diter Beermann ironed the top hat into the shape of my hat - so now it fits perfectly."
