  6. Johann Hückel´s Söhne listing in the 1873 "Amtlicher Catalog der Ausstellung der im Reichsrathe vertretenen Koenigreiche und Laender Oesterreichs" mentions Velour hat (Velourshüte) production from hare (Haar) fur felt.
  7. P. & C. Habig (1951) This is an amazing hat to DoctorJ on the FL. It has Trachten elements along with some city elements. The green - gold color combination and bow treatment are very Austrian. Unfortunately the sweatband disintegrated.
  8. P. & C. Habig Alpen Velour (1970s) This one belongs to RLK on the FL. Very nice velour felt and cord treatment.
  9. Mayser Velour (1990s early 2000s) This is another great hat from my friend Herbert Jennissen at Hut-Neubarth Augsburg. The velour felt and sweat band are awesome. Love the ribbon treatment. This is the best modern production hat I have ever come across. It has a very vintage feel regarding the materials (sweat and felt) and construction.
  10. Mayser City Finale (1975) I really liked the felt and style of this hat. I ended up giving it away to a cute US military lady that took a liking to it.
  11. Mayser Faulk (2000s) Nice Trachten style hat with cool feather ribbon.
  12. Mayser Long Hair Gernot (2000s) Unfortunately Mayser isn't making many Trachten style hats anymore. I really like the Edelweiss flower on the felt ribbon.
  13. Rockel Alpen Velour (1970s 1980s) This is a new old stock with some really nice black velour felt. Also with a very nice liner and logo.
  14. Hutkönig Regensburg Trachten This is a very nice Trachten hat. Very nice felt and really like the felt ribbon and binding treatment.
  15. Lembert Souverain Homburg (1960s 1970s) This is a very beautifully made Homburg in mint condition. I was very lucky to find this one.
  16. Böhm Fedora (late 1960s early 1970s) This is a gift from my friend Herbert Jennissen at Hut-Neubarth Augsburg. This is a new old stock hat and very rare. I really love the color combination and black binding and ribbon treatment. This one is very similar to my Fraenkel. The Böhm's restarted the company after WWII out of Vienna and eventually combined with Fraenkel.
  17. This is a vintage Peschel hat display holder that was a gift from my friend Herbert Jennisenn at Hut-Neubarth Augsburg. It is a fantastic piece of German hat history! Here it is in use.
  18. Josef Pichler & SOEHNE Long Hair Alpen (late 1960s, 1970s) This is a Alpen style from my friend Herbert Jennissen at Hut-Neubarth. I really love the black long hair felt and the felt ribbon treatment.
  19. Mayser Long Hair (1970s early 1980s) The felt on this Mayser has a great feel and look. The hat is designed to have both front and back brim snapped down. This one is from my friend Herbert Jennissen at Hut-Neubarth Regensburg.
  20. Ottmar Reich (1980s 1990s) This is also low price hat but of good quality. I like the light grey color felt and black ribbon.
  21. Ottmar Reich (1980s 1990s) This is not a high price hat but of good quality. I like the dark blue color and it has a very large brim and high crown.
  22. Lembert Long Hair (1970s) This one has two different felts. The under brim is a normal black felt that fills the whole side of the hat.
  23. Wegener Graf Lemberg (2000s) This is a nice Alpen hat with gold ribbon treatment.
  24. Wegener Green Forester (2000s) This is a really interesting hat. The brim is not of equal length side to side. Also a very nice back bow treatment.
  25. Wegener Velour (1990s early 2000s) This is a beautiful blue velour fedora with a cool purple liner. I would say this is one the best made modern production hats I own. I got this hat from my friend Herbert Jennissen who owns Hut-Neubarth Augsburt. Unfortunately Herbert told me Wegener is no longer making such great hats.
