  1. I found this photo on an old Schachthut from a past auction. "Schachthut, Bavaria, around 1860-80 black felt, the bottom edge of black patent leather, gold-plated front, bekränztes emblem with crown, sides, blue-white cockade with most original blue-white plume, inside blue lining and a stamped emblem and fortune in gold on and paper label by M. Bronnold Hutfabrik, Amberg."
  2. This modern Wegener belongs to Robert (RLK) on the FL. Really like the double brim and brim stitching.
  3. Pre WWII Schiebermütze, size 56cm. Manfred got edged out on this one but I thought it was worth showing the auction photos since these are rare.

  7. A. Peschel Dinkelsbühl Velour Rex, probably late 1950s. This one has a giant 3 inch brim. Very thick but pliable (open crown) brown Velour finish.
  8. Hückel Weilheim Mercur Homburg, size 59cm 7 3/8, great condition, probably mid to late 1950s. The brim curl on this one is fantastic. Hückel Weilheim made really high quality hats during this time period. Awesome attention to detail!
  9. Manfred picked both of these up for 1 EURO! My guess is late 1950s for both of them. "The gray one is a Chamois and the flecked felt is a Hückel Clipper Pork Pie. Both hats are very dirty and stained. After a good brushing and spraying with a special mix of alcohol and water, I could remove most of them with a rag. I believe, If I would soak the hat, it would be come out like new. The Clipper liner is very soiled. I has to remove it. Unfortunately, the print of the liner of the Chamois taken Damage."

  11. Feiner Junge Bursche mit Stock und Hut (Bremen, 1915) I was looking through some old hat photos and found this one. The young fellow has a damn nice hat!

  13. P. & C. Habig Vienna Brass Plate I believe this is one of the crests used for export to non-German speaking countries. For German speaking countries it would have had Wien / Hutmacher instead of Vienna / Hatters. Highly possible it was displayed in one of the P. & C. Habig locations in Vienna. Mounted

  16. Mini Ceramic Kreissäge (Boater), probably from Saxony and early 1900s. I have a similar mini Ceramic Top Hat (see first photo) from Saxony.
  17. Manfred, Thanks! Super that it actually has the Stratoliner model name! It is definitely from the mid to late 1950s so made by Mayser.
