  3. Rockel, probably late 1950s. This one belongs to Manfred.
  4. Wegener Seal "Manhatten", probably late 1950s. Great ribbon / bow and finish. This one belongs to Manfred.
  5. Möckel (trademark Th. Jos. Ernst Köln), size 59cm, probably later 1960s. This one belongs to Manfred.
  6. Mayser "Superbe", great condition, probably mid to late 1950s. This one belongs to Manfred.
  7. O.F. Hess Hussinetz / Husinec Bohemia pre WWII. This is the older hat container from the Czech find.
  8. "Trimmed and Sewed Straw Hats" (Boaters) and "Fur Felt Hats for Men" Bill & Caldwell "Importers of Men's Stiff, Soft and Straw Hats" 743-745 Broadway, New York
  9. Tonak / Janyška & Cie from right after WWII. This is an example of a bulk shipping container that was common in Europe going back to late 19th Century. Janyška & Cie is using the nationalized name Tonak.
  10. O.F. Hess "Normal", size 56cm, WWII era. Really nice color and finish. Also a little felt heart on the felt band. This hat is from my Czech find.
  11. O.F. Hess "Gazela", size 57cm, WWII era. Great blue (will not auto focus) color and Antelope finish. Also a little felt heart on the felt band.
  12. Janyška, size 55cm, 1930s. This one is beyond description so I will let the photos do the talking. I believe Čistá Plstěný means Pure Fur Felt.
  13. Janyška "The BilCal Hat", size 56cm, probably 1930s. This hat is from the Czech find. Fantastic felt and high quality components. What is interesting is BilCal is Bill & Caldwell who were one of the early 20th Century American importers (there weren't many) of foreign hats (including Borsalino). Bill & Caldwell "Importers of Stiff, Soft and Straw Hats" (from an Borsalino advertisement in The American Hatter March, 1922)
  14. Janyška, size 59cm but measures 60cm, WWII era. Very nice felt and finish. I didn't crease this hat because the label would probably not survive. This is the first Janyška I have acquired.
  15. O.F. Hess "Praga", size 58cm, WWII era. Very nice soft heather felt. I had the ribbon / bow replaced because the original was scratched beyond repair (from stacking).
  16. Karl Misik (KAMI) "Special", size 59cm, WWII era. Very nice heather felt.
  17. O.F. Hess "Radio", size 57cm, WWII era. This one has moth issues on the top of the crown but not noticeable. The felt color and finish are fantastic.
  18. Karl Misik "Mode de Paris", size 59 but measures 60cm, NOS condition, WWII era. This is a wool hat and takes a perfect dry crease. I received one box (16 hats) of the Czech find.
  19. O.F. Hess "Praga", size 58cm, NOS condition but unfortunately has some moth issues, WWII era.
